Privacy Policy
Applies to AVHUD Digital Signage (iPad), AVHUD Digital Signage Remote (iPhone) and AVHUD Display TV. Last updated 19 September 2026.
The short version
Your signage runs on your own network. We don't run a cloud service for it, we don't have an account system, and we never see your pictures, videos, playlists, schedules or screens.
What the apps store, and where
- On the iPad: the pictures and videos you add, your playlists and schedules, the names of your screens, and the username and password you create (the password is stored as a one-way hash). None of this is sent to us.
- On each TV: the address of your iPad and a saved copy of what that TV is playing, so it keeps going if the network drops.
- On your iPhone: the addresses of the servers you connect to, and any access code you enter (kept in the iPhone's Keychain).
What we do not do
- No advertising, analytics or tracking in any of the apps.
- No selling or sharing of data — we don't collect any to share.
- No access to your photos beyond the ones you choose to add.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store. We receive no payment details; Apple tells the app only whether a subscription is active.
Permissions the apps ask for
- Local network: so the iPad, TVs and iPhone can find and talk to each other.
- Photos and files: only when you pick something to add.
- Notifications: to remind you if the iPad app is closed, or (iPhone) if a screen goes offline.
Children
The apps are business tools and are not directed at children.
